325 – 335 Webb Drive, also known as the Monarchy Condos, is a two tower highrise condominium in the Square One City Centre area of Mississauga.

This condo complex was built in 1991 by Toronto developer The Monarch Group.

This twin-tower condominium is part of the original wave of high rise properties that were constructed in the downtown Mississauga City Centre (MCC) area in the early 1990’s, and as such, is conveniently close to all that MCC has to offer.

The two towers each stand 23 storeys tall, they share a common lobby. Other amenities are also shared, including the underground parking facility. The municipal addresses are:

325 – 335 Webb Drive is situated about midway between Confederation Parkway and Duke of York Blvd.

There are a few things you should know regarding these condos:

The Monarchy Condos have only 2 bedroom and 2 bedroom plus den units, no smaller 1 bedroom units.

There are no balconies in either of the two towers.

A single condo corporation governs the entire facility.

Finally, there are NO pets allowed in this condo. If you have a dog, for example, this is not the building for you.

Square One Area Attractions

Shopping

The largest shopping mall in Ontario is Square One Shopping Centre, a major commercial mall that is located a couple of blocks to the northeast of the condo complex.

Square One has more than 360 stores, restaurants, bars, and services, and is a 3 minute drive, and a 10 minute walk away, with the southwest entrance to the mall (Holt Renfrew) being nearest.

The Monarchy condo is situated on the north side of Webb Drive between Duke of York Blvd and Confederation Parkway.

In addition to the shopping available at the Square One Shopping Centre, there are quite a few additional options available nearby.

There is a substantial mall at the Parkways West Shopping Centre at 325 Central Parkway West, including retail stores, restaurants, a supermarket, florists, and doctor’s offices.

There is another shopping area at the Rio Can Grand Park commercial centre at Grand Park Drive, with a Staples store, a Shoppers Drug Mart, a Winners store, and several restaurants.

Plus there are dozens of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops in many of the nearby condos that surround Square One.

Entertainment

In addition to all the shopping possibilities, there are a lot of attractions here at the heart of the Mississauga City Centre that are within walking distance:

  • Celebration Square with its vibrant slate of community events, fountains, and skating rink in winter
  • Living Arts Centre
  • Mississauga Art Gallery
  • Mississauga City Hall
  • Hazel McCallion Central Library
  • the central YMCA

The nearest cinemas are the Cineplex Cinemas at Rathburn Road and Living Arts Drive.

Transit

The central Mississauga MiWay Transit and GO bus terminal is within walking distance. This is the central transit hub for the City of Mississauga.

The terminal will soon add a major new enhancement when the Hazel McCallion LRT (Hurontario LRT) adds a stop there in late 2025 or 2026.

For commuters, this condo is also a short driving distance to the Cooksville GO station, and Ontario Highway 403 is easily accessible via either Mavis Road or Hurontario St.

Elementary

There are several elementary schools serving the area, including:

Mississauga has several excellent post-secondary schools, including:

Sheridan College

Sheridan College has a large campus at Square One. Over 6700 students attend classes in over 100 classrooms and labs.

University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM)

The University of Toronto Mississauga campus (UTM) has over 15,000 graduate and undergraduate students. It’s located in a wooded setting near Mississauga Road and The Collegeway, and is about a 10 minute drive from 325-335 Webb Drive.

Hospital

The nearest hospital is the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital. It is located at 100 Queensway W., near Hurontario and the QEW, which is about a 9 minute drive away.

The Mississauga Hospital (formerly known as Trillium Hospital) houses the largest concentration of critical care services in Canada, with modern facilities that are currently undergoing a major expansion.

Nearby Grocery Stores

You will find a fairly large assortment of grocery stores in the immediate area, such as the Whole Foods Market located on the north side of the mall.

Also close by are Food Basics and Metro supermarkets, plus the full grocery located in Walmart at Square One.

There are two asian grocery stores in the neighbourhood: T&T and Yuan Ming.

There is also a Mr. India grocery nearby.

Parks and Recreation

325-335 Webb Drive is located near to several city parks. 

John Bud Cleary Park is a neighbourhood park that is a 6 minute walk away along Webb Drive. It’s a good spot that presents opportunities for dog walking, hiking and jogging, and it also features additional children’s play areas. Zonta Meadows Park, which is on the north side of Burnhamthorpe Rd., is about a 12 minute walk away.

This large urban park has winding walkways, and features children’s play areas, public tennis courts, and open spaces which are great for soccer and other team sports.

Kariya Park is a lovely Japanese themed Mississauga park with a pond, walkways and wooden bridges, a pagoda-type structure with a large brass bell, and cherry blossoms in the spring.

It is about an 8 minute walk away, or 3 minutes by car.
