TL Kennedy Secondary School Mississauga
TL Kennedy Secondary School is a long established public high school situated in an historic area in the heart of Mississauga known as Cooksville. It offers schooling for grades 9-12.
There are currently approximately 800 students registered at this well known, legacy facility.
TL Kennedy Secondary was originally founded in 1953, and has evolved over the years. Today the school has ratings that are slightly below average compared to many public high schools in Ontario. Nevertheless, TLK School offers a good assortment of academic courses.
T.L. Kennedy offers Specialist High Skills Majors in Business, and also in Information and Communications Technology.
It is also a participant in the Regional Learning Choices Program, offering courses in Graphic Design Management, International and Executive Leadeship, and International Business and Technology.
T.L. Kennedy is also a participant in the Dual Credit Program, where students in grades 11 and 12 can earn college credits while still in high school.
At this high school, students can find French language instruction in Core French.
The school is also a participant in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.

Although TLK School was founded nearly 70 years ago, it offers a good assortment of modern classrooms and work spaces for students. In addition, the school also features numerous drama and art rooms, video animation studios, music areas, a library, a large gymnasium, a large commercial kitchen, a fitness center, plus athletic fields and more than a dozen computer and robotics lab areas.
TLK is renowned for its “Kougars” sports teams, and offers a wide assortment of athletic opportunities for students, including:

For recreation, T.L. Kennedy Secondary School has a large gymnasium, and a full assortment of track and field facilities. The school is located in the heart of Mississauga, serving an area that within the historic town of Cooksville, as well as a large swath of the City Centre/Square One area. It is close to the commercial areas near Dundas St. W. and Hurontario St., and has easy access to both the 403 and QEW Highways. The nearest GO Station is Cooksville.
