21 Park Street East Mississauga
TANU Condos are a luxury boutique mid-rise condominium located at 21 Park Street East in the Port Credit area of Mississauga. This attractive new residence was built by GTA developer Edenshaw Developments Limited, and was completed in 2022.
TANU has a very special status among all the condos in the city, as it is currently (Jan 2024) the most expensive condo in Mississauga, when measured by price per square foot.
Haida Art at TANU
The building has a unique Haida theme.
TANU Port Credit is named after the Haida village of Tanu, located on Tanu Island, a small island located off the northwest coast of British Columbia. Tanu Island is part of an archipelago once known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, that was recently renamed the Haida Gwaii. It was part of the land of the Haida nation.
Edenshaw Developments, the developer of this project, is interestingly named after Haida Chief and Master Carver, Charles Edenshaw (c.1839–1920).
Edenshaw was a noted Haida artist in British Columbia during the late 19th and early 20th century.
At TANU, you will find some art installations with a Haida theme. One prominent piece is a cast bronze sculpture of a Raven, created by internationally acclaimed Haida artist James Hart, who happens to be the great-great grandson of Charles Edenshaw. You will find the Raven statue at TANU’s outdoor amenity terrace.
In addition to the Raven sculpture, there is also a series of custom screens at the entrance of the tower, that illustrate the story of how, in Haida mythology, the Raven stole the world’s first light and bestowed it to humanity.
The Raven was a deity to the ancient Haida peoples, and was worshipped as such.

Port Credit is one of the original small towns that amalgamated to form the City of Mississauga. It has zealously preserved its small town vibe, and is a popular destination for both visitors and residents.

In addition, there is more on the way including the multi-year and multi-faceted Brightwater Development, currently under construction. Brightwater will feature residential, office, commercial, and transit facilities.
Apart from all the shopping possibilities, there is a lot of additional attractions in the Port Credit area.

TANU Condos are blessed with close access to some of the best parks in Mississauga.
Port Credit Memorial Park is directly across from the complex. It features walkways, a large pavilion, plaza space and open green areas. This is a popular location for many festivals and events. There are also picnic areas, a skate park and a playground.
The park is also attached to Port Credit Memorial Arena, which offers free ice skating in the cooler months.
J.C. Saddington Park, where you can enjoy a looped path system, picnic areas and a playground. This large green space was built on a former landfill. There are also heritage buildings and an informal amphitheatre.
Brueckner Rhododendron Gardens, which is on the south side of Lakeshore Road W., is a 5 minute drive away. This beautiful city park becomes a riot of colour every spring, when the extensive rhododendron gardens bloom.
It also has winding walkways that lead to a small beach, plenty of benches to soak in the surrounding beauty, and open green areas that are perfect for a picnic.
