Square One Attractions

One Park Tower is part of the Daniels’ Corporation master-planned community at Mississauga City Centre (MCC), and as such, is conveniently close to all that MCC has to offer.

Shopping

Square One Shopping Centre, Ontario’s largest mall, lies immediately to the east of the condo. The mall has more than 360 stores, restaurants, bars, and services, and is about a 5 minute walk away, with the southwest entrance to the mall (Holt Renfrew) being nearest.

In addition to the shopping available within Square One Shopping Centre, there are quite a few other options available nearby as well.

There is a substantial mall at the Parkways West Shopping Centre at 325 Central Parkway West, including retail stores, restaurants, a wholesale supermarket, florists, and doctor’s offices.

You will find another shopping area at the Rio Can Grand Park commercial centre at 3970 Grand Park Drive, with a Staples store, a Shoppers Drug Mart, a Winners store, and several restaurants.

In addition to all the shopping possibilities, there are a lot of attractions here at the heart of the Mississauga City Centre that are all within walking distance:

The nearest cinemas are the Cineplex Cinemas at Rathburn Road and Living Arts Drive.

Transit

The central Mississauga MiWay Transit and GO bus terminal is within walking distance. This is the central transit hub for the city of Mississauga.

Here you will find direct MiWay bus service to points across the city, as well as direct service to the Kipling subway station in Etobicoke.

Furthermore, GO Transit bus service extends from here to downtown Toronto, and to many other points including Toronto Pearson International Airport, Hamilton, and even Scarborough.

The terminal will soon add a major new enhancement when the Hazel McCallion LRT adds a stop there in late 2024. This will provide direct light rail service from Port Credit north to the centre of Brampton.

Finally, commuters have easy access to the Cooksville GO station, which is a short drive away, as well as Ontario Highway 403, which is easily accessible via either Mavis Road or Hurontario St.

Nearby Grocery Stores 

There is a Rabba Supermarket directly across the street at 385 Prince of Wales Drive.

There is also a Whole Foods Market on the north side of Square One, as well as a full supermarket in the lower level of Walmart in the mall.

In addition, there are several other full service supermarkets in the area. Metro is nearby on Mississauga Valley Blvd, and Food Basics has a location at Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Central Parkway East.

Finally, there are three large Chinese supermarkets nearby – Yuan Ming, Oceans, and T&T, as well as a Mr. India grocery about a 3 minute drive away.

There are several elementary schools serving the area, including Chris Hadfield Public School (JK-5), Camilla Road Senior Public School (6-8), and St Giovanni Scalabrini School (PK-8).

In addition, there are also public and catholic high schools nearbyTL Kennedy Public Secondary School and Father Michael Goetz Secondary School.

Parks and Recreation

One Park Tower is located directly adjacent to a major new city park, which will eventually be part of the extensive Zonta Meadows park complex nearby (with public tennis courts).

There are several other parks in the area, including Kariya Park, a celebrated Japanese-themed oasis, which is a short drive away. This is a very special park in Mississauga that is famous for its cherry blossoms in the spring.

In keeping with the gothic theme of the complex, there is a beautifully landscaped courtyard, with a sculptural obelisk, plus seating areas, walking paths, water feature, and children’s play area.
