Hurontario is a neighbourhood in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, that has been defined by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB).
It is located in the central part of the city, and is just to the north of the Square One City Centre area.
Hurontario has Highway 403 at its southern boundary, and it roughly follows Matheson Blvd at its northern edge. Highway 403 also marks its eastern boundary, and Mavis Road is to the west.
The Hurontario area is often confused with the Square One City Centre area.
Although both are in the centre of downtown Mississauga, the dividing line is the 403 highway. South of the highway is City Centre, and north of the highway is Hurontario.
Hurontario is an area that is being rapidly developed, with numerous highrise condominiums creating an ever-denser population. Developers active in the area include Pinnacle International, with one of its master-planned communities called Pinnacle Uptown.
