Cooksville is a neighbourhood in the city of Mississauga, Peel Region, Ontario, Canada.
Cooksville was established c. 1836, and is one of the oldest towns that were eventually combined to create the City of Mississauga.
It has a major transportation hub at the Cooksville GO Station, where regional heavy rail GO trains intersect with municipal bus routes. The Hazel McCallion LRT (Hurontario LRT) will add additional connectivity when it is completed in late 2024 or early 2025.
Cooksville is the site of one of Mississauga’s two major hospitals, the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital, which is currently undergoing a major expansion.
Cooksville is centred around the intersection of Dundas Street and Hurontario Street. Its northern boundary is the train tracks north of Hillcrest Avenue, its southern boundary is the QEW Highway, while Cawthra Road marks its the eastern edge, and roughly Mavis Road marks its western edge.
Cooksville is among the most diverse neighbourhoods in Mississauga. It includes a very wealthy area known as Gordon Woods.
Cooksville is also the site of several excellent parks, including highly rated Brickyard Park.
