Cardinal Leger Secondary School is a respected legacy Catholic high school located in the heart of downtown Brampton, Ontario. It offers schooling for grades 9-12, and is a member of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

There are currently approximately 1600 students registered at Cardinal Leger CSS Brampton. As with most Catholic high schools, students here are required to wear uniforms while attending classes.
Cardinal Leger was founded in 1976, and it is considered one of the better high schools in Peel Region.
Special Programs

Academically, CLSS has an extensive list of specialized courses and programs.
SHSM
Once students reach Grade 11, they can participate in the Ontario Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program. Cardinal Leger offers an SHSM for Hospitality and Tourism.
Dual Credit Program
Dual Credit programs provide grade 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to earn both college and non-compulsory secondary credits at the same time. College credits earned may be applied to a college program after high school.
Students can choose from more than 50 courses at colleges such as Centennial, George Brown, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan.
French Language
Cardinal Leger CSS excels in its offerings for French language instruction. All three levels are provided: Core French, Extended French, and French Immersion.
ESL
The school provides extensive English as a Second Language (ESL) programs led by teachers with substantial experience working with students in ESL.
OYAP
The school is also a participant in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.

Cardinal Leger CSS is one of the older legacy high schools in Brampton.
It nevertheless offers an expansive variety of modern classrooms and work areas for students.
Leger also features numerous drama and art rooms, various areas for its music department, two large gymnasiums, cosmetics, science, and computer labs, a fitness centre, a weight room, athletic fields, and track & field facilities.
