Completed in 2000 by Tridel Corporation, 35 Kingsbridge Garden Circle is part of a two tower complex that includes its sister tower at 25 Kingsbridge Garden Circle. The two buildings are joined together by an impressive lobby that resembles a luxury hotel.

Both condos are high-end properties that have been very much sought after over past twenty-plus years.

There are actually 4 condo towers at this part of Kingsbridge Garden Circle. They are nestled in a treed cul-de-sac on the north side of the street. In addition to these 4 condos, there is also a 5th building that is located on the south side of the street:

Skymark West I and II have an interesting layout. The fronts of the combined buildings face the quiet cul-de-sac. This is where you will find the residential entrance to the condos.

The backs of the Skymark West buildings, on the other hand, face Hurontario St., and there are a number of commercial businesses on that side. There is a completely different atmosphere from the back to the front of the complex.

Municipal address for Skymark West is 35 Kingsbridge Garden Circle, Mississauga, Ontario L5R 3Z5.

The nearest major intersection is the corner of Hurontario St. and Eglinton Ave. W.

The location is very good. Although 35 Kingsbridge Garden Circle is located in the Hurontario district, which is an area slightly to the north of Mississauga City Centre (MCC), it is surrounded by plenty of retail and commercial options, and is just minutes away from all that MCC has to offer.

Pros and Cons

There are a lot of pros concerning 35 Kingsbridge Garden Circle. It’s very much a high-end luxury building.

Condo apartments here are very large when compared to many other projects, and the residences are filled to the brim with high-end luxury touches.

You can expect high ceilings, crown moulding, 8″ baseboards, multiple balconies and terraces, and much more. When Tridel built Skymark West, they went all out to create a superior lifestyle experience.

There are also some amenities that you don’t typically see in other buildings, such as the car wash in the parking garage, the bowling alley, tennis courts, and the fact that the maintenance fees include all utilities (although cable and internet are billed separately).

On the con side, there is one big caveat for animal lovers: there are NO pets allowed in this building, so if you have a small or a big dog, this is not the condo for you.

But before we take a deep dive into the building itself, let’s take a look at the area.

Mississauga Attractions

Shopping

The Skymark West condo has walkable access to several shopping plazas in the area that feature restaurants, coffee shops, offices, and stores.

There is a major mall that is directly across Hurontario St., which includes a large supermarket named Oceans Fresh Food Market, multiple coffee shops and restaurants, a Toys ‘R’ Us, and many other retail establishments.

And in addition, Square One Shopping Centre, Ontario’s largest mall, is just a 5 minute drive away. The two north entrances to the mall (Walmart and Simons) are the closest.

Square One has more than 360 stores, restaurants, bars, and services.

Entertainment

In addition to all the shopping possibilities, once you cross over to the City Centre area, there are a lot of attractions here at the heart of the Mississauga City Centre for anyone to enjoy.

The nearest cinemas are the Cineplex Cinemas at Rathburn Road and Living Arts Drive.

Transit

The central Mississauga MiWay Transit and GO bus terminal is located at the north side of the Square One mall. This is the central transit hub for the city of Mississauga.

GO Transit bus service extends from here to downtown Toronto, and to many other points including Toronto Pearson International Airport, Hamilton, and even Scarborough.

The transit terminal will soon add a major new enhancement when the Hurontario LRT (Hazel McCallion LRT) adds a stop there in late 2025 or early 2026. This will provide direct light rail service from Port Credit north to the centre of Brampton.

The LRT is replacing a bus route that currently runs north-south along Hurontario St., and it will have a stop at the intersection of Hurontario & Eglinton, about a 2 minute walk from the condo.

The LRT will provide direct access to the Square One main transit terminal, and it will then proceed onwards to the Cooksville GO station. From Cooksville, there is additional direct heavy rail connectivity to downtown Toronto.

Commuters living at Skymark West I also have easy access to both Ontario Highway 403, and Highway 401. Both highways are close by, and are easily accessible via Hurontario St.

Schools

There are several elementary schools serving the area, including:

  • Huntington Ridge Public School (PK-5) at 345 Huntington Ridge Dr, Mississauga
  • Fairwind Senior Public School (6-8) at 5235 Fairwind Dr, Mississauga
  • St. Matthew Catholic Elementary School (PK-8) at 280 Kingsbridge Garden Cir, Mississauga

In addition, there are also excellent public and catholic high schools nearbyRick Hansen Secondary School and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School.

Hospital

The nearest hospital is the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital. It is located at 100 Queensway W., near Hurontario and the QEW, which is about a 12 minute drive away.

The Mississauga Hospital (formerly known as Trillium Hospital) houses the largest concentration of critical care services in Canada, with modern facilities that are currently undergoing a major expansion.

Nearby Grocery Stores

There’s a huge selection of places to shop for groceries in the area. You will find all types of supermarkets, in all price ranges.

As mentioned above, there is a major grocery store named Oceans Fresh Food Market, which is right across Hurontario St. Oceans is a vast Chinese-themed supermarket that also has a full selection of western goods. It’s extremely popular with locals and visitors alike.

A few minutes north on Hurontario St. you will find Highland Farms, which is another vast and popular supermarket that has discount prices.

While emphatically not a discount brand, Whole Foods Market has a location on the north side of the Square One mall.

Also close by are Food Basics and Metro supermarkets, plus the full grocery located in Walmart at Square One.

Finally, there is a 24 hour Rabba Fine Foods grocery store in the base of 25 Kingsbridge Garden Circle.

Parks and Recreation

Despite being just minutes away from the bustling city centre of Mississauga, residents and their guests at Skymark West are lucky to have close access to one of the best parks in Mississauga.

Kariya Park was originally a gift to the city of Mississauga from the city of Kariya, Japan.

This excellent city park, with its serene Japanese gardens, is often the setting for wedding pictures for newlywed couples.

The park has winding trails, ponds, wooden bridges, sculptures, a pagoda-style pavilion, and much more.

There are also several neighbourhood parks nearby, including Kingsbridge Common Park, which is a 5 minute walk away, Huron Heights Park, and Heritage Hills Park, which are each about an 11 minute walk from the condo. All three have soccer fields and baseball diamonds.

There are over 70 highrise condos in the city centre, as well as over 20 in the Hurontario area. Consequently, all the parks are extremely popular, and they are usually very busy during the warmer months.
