Erindale Secondary School is a legacy public high school situated in the Erindale neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario.

Erindale Secondary School was originally founded in 1967, and has expanded over the years. Today the school is rated one of the better public high schools in Ontario.
Special Programs and Courses
Erindale Secondary School offers a good assortment of specialized academic courses for students.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
The school is a fully accredited member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, a worldwide network of schools that promotes academic excellence, extra-curricular achievement, and citizenship.
The IB program at Erindale is within the framework of the Diploma Programme (DP) which provides students in grades 11 and 12 the opportunity to earn an IB Diploma as well as the regular Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
There is also a pre-IB program available for students in grades 9 and 10 that prepares them for the application process for the Diploma Programme.
Dual Credit
The Dual Credit programs provide grade 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to earn both college and non-compulsory secondary credits at the same time. College credits earned may be applied to a college program after high school.
Students can choose from more than 50 courses at colleges such as: Centennial, George Brown, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan.
Co-operative Education
The Co-operative Education Program (co-op) allows students to earn credits by integrating course curriculum with onsite learning at a work placement.
Students with various career pathways-apprenticeship, college, community living, university, or the workplace-can participate.
The program can include up to four credits per semester to a maximum of 12 co-op credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students are monitored and supported in their learning by the placement supervisor and co-op teachers.
French Language
At this high school, students can find French language instruction in Core French.
OYAP
Erindale Secondary School is also a participant in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.
The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) is a school to work program that provides opportunities for students to explore and work in apprenticeship occupations starting in grades 11 or 12.

Erindale SS boundaries cover a large area extending from the QEW Highway in the south, to the 403 Highway in the north, with an irregular boundary on its western edge, covering both Winston Churchill Blvd. as well as Ninth Line.
Its eastern boundary follows a line along the Credit River.
