Burlington Central High School, also known as Burlington Central School, is a public high school in Burlington Ontario. It offers high school classroom education for grades 9-12, as well as middle school classroom education for grades 7-8. BCHS is a member of the Halton District School Board.

Burlington Central High School (BCHS) was originally founded in 1922, and is noted for its high level of academic achievement. It is the oldest secondary school in Burlington, and has had many additions and renovations over the years.
BCHS shares its campus with Central Public School, which is in a separate building next door. Central Public School offers classroom education for JK to Grade 6.
Today, Burlington Central High School is rated as an excellent public high school, and it offers a wide assortment of courses for students.

International Baccalaureate IB
Burlington Central HS is a fully accredited member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme.
The International Baccalaureate is a worldwide network of schools that provide academically challenging instruction for student participants in grades 11 and12.
The Diploma Programme is a comprehensive two year curriculum that takes place in the last 2 years of high school (Grades 11 & 12). To be eligible for an IB Diploma, students must take a subject from six different Diploma areas of study, as well as complete three requirements of the DP core – the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (ToK), and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS).
In addition to BCHS, the IB Diploma Program is also offered at the following public high schools in Halton Region: Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton, Georgetown District High School in Georgetown, and White Oaks Secondary School in Oakville.
All four schools offer the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) for grades 9 & 10 in preparation for the IB Diploma Program in grades 11 & 12.
SHSM
Burlington Central High School offers 2 different Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs: Arts & Culture, and Engineering, Manufacturing, & Robotics.
French Language
BCHS offers a full French Immersion program, as well as Core French.
ESL
Burlington Central HS provides extensive English as a Second Language (ESL) programs led by teachers with substantial experience working with students in ESL.
OYAP
The school is also a participant in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.
