Clearview is a neighbourhood in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
It is situated at the eastern tip of the town, next to the border with Mississauga.
Primary employer in the area is the Ford Motor Company, who operate a large manufacturing plant in Clearview.
Clearview has excellent transportation offerings, including the QEW Highway, and the 403 Highway. It is also located near to the Clarkson GO Station in Mississauga.
Clearview was formerly part of the Village of Sheridan which was formed in the early 1800s. Sheridan was a rural farming community until 1937 when the Queen Elizabeth Highway was constructed.
Sheridan would ultimately amalgamate with the Township of Oakville in 1962.
