White Oaks Secondary School is a highly rated public secondary school situated in northeast Oakville, offering schooling for grades 9-12. There are currently approximately 2000 students registered at this prominent high school, which is part of the Halton District School Board. White Oaks is unique in that it has a north and a south campus, located directly across the street from one another.
White Oaks Secondary was originally founded in 1965, and it is considered one of the top public high schools in Canada. The school offers a wide assortment of academic and technical courses for students in grades 9-12. Students can also experience a variety of enrichment programs such as a film school, English language programs, and programs for business and arts students. It also offers a full French immersion program, including an International Baccalaureate diploma program (“IB Program”). The school has a long list of renowned alumni: people including Canadian astronauts, professional athletes, notable musicians and entertainment celebrities.
