St. Marcellinus Secondary School is a highly rated Catholic high school situated in north Mississauga, offering schooling for grades 9-12. There are currently approximately 1800 students registered at St. Marcellinus. As with most Catholic high schools, students here are required to wear uniforms while attending classes.

St. Marcellinus was founded in 2003, and it is considered one of the better high schools in Peel Region. The school offers a wide assortment of academic courses for students in grades 9-12, including a core French program. A wide variety of enrichment programs are offered, such as Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs for Hospitality and Tourism, and for Arts and Culture. The school also offers an Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.

School and Nearby Amenities

The school is an integral part of the Courtneypark Community Centre, which was designed as a partnership between the City of Mississauga, the Mississauga Library System, and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District school board.  The multi-use structure includes activity centres, a large library and an extensive track and field complex complete with artificial turf and an 8 lane all-weather track.  Students are able to access the library and can utilize the community centre facilities as part of their academic and athletic programs.
