St. Joseph Secondary school serves a large catchment area, including Streetsville, the Heartland area, the East Credit area, and even Deer Run, south of the 403 highway.
As with most Catholic high schools, students here are required to wear uniforms while attending classes.
St. Joseph school was founded in 1993, and it is considered one of the better high schools in Peel Region.

Advanced Placement (AP)
St. Joseph SS offers a specialty learning program for gifted students, which is called the Advanced Placement Program. SHSM
St. Joe’s also provides a Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM) program in Business and Transportation.
