Lorne Park Secondary School is a highly rated public high school situated in an affluent area of southwest Mississauga, offering schooling for grades 9-12.

This influential high school was originally founded in 1958, and has continually expanded as the population of this part of Mississauga has grown. Today Lorne Park SS is rated one of the better public high schools in Ontario.
Special Programs
Lorne Park offers a wide assortment of academic courses, including specialized programs.
It is one of five designated centers for the Peel Regional Enhanced Program, catering to gifted students from across southern Mississauga, and it also offers both Core French instruction, as well as an Extended French program.
A Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program for Sports is offered.
The school is also a participant in the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) for skilled trades.

Lorne Park offers a good assortment of modern classrooms and work spaces for students. The school also features numerous drama and art rooms, music areas, a library, a large gymnasium, a fitness centre, a media production studio, plus athletic fields and computer study areas.
