Clarkson Secondary School is one of Mississauga’s older schools, and it has a smaller enrolment than many other public high schools in Mississauga. It is a member of the Peel District School Board.

This high school is located in the Clarkson area of southwest Mississauga. It offers classroom education for students in grades 9-12.
There are currently nearly 700 students registered at this well established and storied facility, and out of the 700 enrolled students, approximately 200 are registered in French Immersion studies.
Clarkson Secondary was originally founded in 1969, and has expanded its facilities over time. Today the school is rated one of the better public high schools in Ontario, and it offers a wide assortment of academic programs for students.

Although Clarkson high school was founded over 50 years ago, it offers a good assortment of modern classrooms and work spaces for students.
Recent additions include a recently renovated library, new science labs, as well as numerous drama and art rooms, music areas, a large gymnasium, a weight room, a fitness center, access to the nearby Clarkson Community Centre public swimming pool, plus athletic fields and computer study areas.
