The International Business and Technology (IBT) program is offered within the framework of the Peel District School Board’s Regional Learning Choices Programs (RLCP). The IBT program engages students, starting in Grade 9, with a global focus using project-based, cross-curricular, inquiry-driven learning that is enhanced by technology.
Students learn how to incorporate a variety of business models into project-based entrepreneurial learning challenges and learn skills required to find success in robotics, STEM, and other new and emerging technologies.
Dual Credit Program
Dual Credit programs provide grade 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to earn both college and non-compulsory secondary credits at the same time. College credits earned may be applied to a college program after high school.
Students can choose from more than 50 courses at colleges such as Centennial, George Brown, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan.
Explore High Skills
Explore High Skills (EHS) is a Peel District School Board pathway program for grade 9 and 10 students that is a precursor to the SHSM program. North Park Secondary offers an EHS program for Business.
Once students reach Grade 11, they can also participate in a Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program for Business.
Although there is no French Immersion offered at this high school, students can find French language instruction in Core French.
