Regional Transportation Engineering and Technology Program
The Regional Transportation Engineering and Technology Program is one of the Regional Learning Choices Programs ( RCLP ) in the Peel District School Board. Courses in the four year program are focused on various aspects of the transportation industry.
Classes take place in a state-of-the-art facility at the school. The program prepares students for entry into post-secondary programs, or directly into a career in the transportation industry upon graduation.
Dual Credit Program
Dual Credit programs provide grade 11 and 12 students with an opportunity to earn both college and non-compulsory secondary credits at the same time.
College credits earned may be applied to a college program after high school.
Students can choose from more than 50 courses at colleges such as Centennial, George Brown, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan.
Explore High Skills (EHS)
Explore High Skills (EHS) is a Peel District School Board pathway program for grade 9 and 10 students. It serves as a precursor to the SHSM program. Bramalea SS offers EHS training in Architecture and Construction, as well as in Transportation, Engineering, and Technology.
SHSM
Once students reach Grade 11, they can participate in two separate Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs: one for Construction, and one for Transportation, Engineering, and Technology.
French Language
BSS offers a full French Immersion curriculum, as well as classes in basic Core French.
ESL
Bramalea SS provides extensive English as a Second Language (ESL) programs led by teachers with substantial experience working with students in ESL.
OYAP

Bramalea Secondary School has had numerous expansions and upgrades over the years, and parents can be confident that today, even though this is an older school, BSS provides a good assortment of modern classrooms and work spaces for students.
